Were you out there feeling like there were still just too many unanswered questions in The Fast and the Furious franchise? Okay, probably not, because that's like asking for CliffsNotes for an episode of The Hills. But, I guess somebody out there felt there was some explaining to do, because Coming Soon reports that Vin Diesel (who plays muscle car driver extraordinaire, Dominic Torretto) will be directing a 20-minute prequel to the upcoming Fast and Furious.

They didn't have a panel or a party, but the folks behind the upcoming Bitch Slap were everywhere, literally. I, personally, ran into these girls on several different occasions, and in a building packed...

In less than 24 hours, myself, Scott Weinberg and Elisabeth Rappe will be in San Diego, overdosing on all things geek for the next five days. That's because the 2008 San Diego Comic Con is upon us, and there are literally hundreds of different things to do.

It's been a tough year for documentaries at the box office. How do you market a critically-acclaimed film about five Indiana high school teens that just happens to be a doc? The film is American Teen, and the hurrahs began at Sundance this year. James Rocchi described it as "an engaging, stylish and surprisingly smart piece of non-fiction entertainment."

Not long ago I gave Sony Pictures Classics props for the way they handled promotion on The Wackness, and I'm about to do the same for Focus Features, who've been pimping out Hamlet 2 like there's no tomorrow.

Just when you thought it was safe to go on a cruise, a teenage girl goes psychotic and tries to kill you with her handheld video game machine. That's the basic premise of the upcoming Japanese teen horror flick Twilight Syndrome: Dead Cruise, whose unusual twist is that "a vindictive bullying victim named Eri (Saki Terashima) ...

So while details surrounding the big-screen version of Dragonball have been kept relatively under wraps, it is wise to remember that nothing ever stays secret for long in the age of the internet.

Click the photo to the right to see the whole thing, and then feel free to begin eagerly anticipating April even more than you already are. (Woohoo, April!) The pic respresents the first official non-lupine look at Benicio del Toro as Lawrence Talbot.

Ya know, after the 457th poster was released for The Dark Knight, I said to myself, "That's it! I'm done! They've convinced me to see it!" But then they go and give us another ridiculously cool poster (click image to enlarge) and I'm just speechless.

I wonder if the poster powers that be realized the monster they were creating when they whipped up that memorable poster for The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Since Steve Carell's virginal, bright smile graced walls and billboards everywhere, tons of comedies have followed suit, throwing up their takes on the one-face, and Pineapple Express is no exception.

Not three weeks ago, I made first mention of a brief and bland teaser for the forthcoming horror film, Mirrors. Now, along comes IGN Movies with a red-band trailer that, at first, didn't do much for me. Blah blah blah, Jack Bauer as security guard for old department store, blah blah, former guard grew obsessed with surrounding mirrors, blah blah -- look, even Amy Smart is yawning after all that exposition.

Well, if you have a soft spot for the Fast and Furious franchise, then I'm sure the above picture will make you feel warm and fuzzy all over -- or, at the very least, just a little nostalgic. Sure we got to see some photos of cars, but blurry shots of a few cars was hardly the scoop of the century.

On the final episode of Dinner for Five, Jon Favreau and guests discussed the legendary "is" credit. The only person at the table to have received an "is" credit in his lifetime was, surprisingly, Peter Billingsley, who was given an "is" credit for The Dirt Bike Kid. The "is" credit is indeed rare, so when it comes along we must congratulate the actor or actress enjoying this royal honor.

Now that Wanted is ready to hit the big screen and early buzz has been positive, it should come as no surprise that Mark Millar's other film project has kicked into high gear. Comic Book Resources got the chance to speak with Millar about the upcoming feature film adaptation of his work when the conversation turned to the feature film version of his Icon series, Kick-Ass.
