Focus Features is developing Hanna, a reverse spin on The Professional from screenwriter Seth Lochhead.
In this version, a 14-year-old raised by her father to be a cold-hearted killing machine must learn how to be a girl. In Luc Besson's 1994 big screen version, an orphaned girl played by Natalie Portman befriended her neighbor, a hitman. Marty Adelstein and Scott Nemes are producing Hanna.

Focus Features co-chair James Schamus has revived A Little Game -- months after the project imploded -- and brought in frequent collaborator Ang Lee to direct.
The project is expected to be Lee's next after Lust, Caution. "Game" will mark his third straight film for Focus after Brokeback Mountain and Lust, Caution.
Schamus is rewriting the romantic comedy, an adaptation of a French play called "A Little Game of Consequence." It centers on a happily engaged Brooklyn couple who decide to play an experiment on their friends; when a rumor goes around that they have broken up, they play along to find out what their pals really think of their coupling...more click on heading
