After years of vainly attempting to work together, Leonardo DiCaprio and director Michael Mann are now teaming for a film noir project. Mann will produce via his Forward Pass shingle and direct from a screenplay by John Logan (The Aviator). The Miami Vice helmer reportedly hopes to make the currently untitled drama his next film. Spider-Man has been a big presence at the Tribeca Film Festival this year, but he's not the only comics legend who is getting the spotlight (bat-light?) aimed at him at the 2007 fest. The late, great Will Eisner -- writer, artist and trendsetter of the comic book industry -- is also in evidence in a documentary about the man's life and his influence on the art form. The film, directed by Andrew D. Cooke, utilizes a variety of older interview footage with the man himself (Eisner died in 2005), audiotapes recorded by Eisner of his chats with other comics professionals (many from his era), home movie footage, artwork from Eisner's comic strips and elsewhere, and plenty of talking head interviews with well-known comic artists, writers, and historians. Gang-du (SONG Kang-ho) works at a food-stand on the banks of the Han River. Dozing on the job, he is awakened by his daughter, Hyun-seo ( KO A-sung), who is angry with him for missing a teacher-parent meeting at school. As Gang-du walks out to the riverbank with a delivery, he notices that a large crowd of people have gathered, taking pictures and talking about something hanging from the Han River Bridge. The otherwise idyllic landscape turns suddenly to bedlam, when a terrifying creature climbs up onto the riverbank and begins to crush and eat people.
